Cody Renshaw, CT Renshaw, and Aiden Renshaw moved to Shanghai on February 2nd, 2008.  This page will document our adventures in this exciting and fast paced city of 20 million people.  We live in an American style neighborhood complete with wood-framed houses imported from Canada and assembled here... it looks like something out of the Truman Show.  Within a 10 minute walk from our house we can find KFC, Papa Johns Pizza, a place to buy pig faces, and live chickens.  Our compound has a total of 180 houses and is predominantly Europeans and Americans.  Our closest friends on the compounds are the Roddham family here from the UK.  Here is our dwelling located at 71 Bellewood Villas, 491 Huan Lin East Road, Pudong District, Shanghai, 200123, P.R.China:

We took a family trip with Randa Renshaw and Kara Renshaw to Beijing during May 2008.  We were amazed at how orderly the driving was and how clean the city was compared to Shanghai - undoubtedly in preparation for the Olympics.  Of all the sites visited, the Great Wall was hands down the most impressive.  I was surprised at how steep and challenging it was to climb but Aiden was up for the challenge.  Here are a couple of pictures of us on the Great Wall:
